David D. Davenport, DVM

drdaveDavid D. Davenport, DVM, a founding member of TPSG, brings a vast amount of business acumen to the veterinary brokerage firm. Dr. Davenport has founded, partnered, operated, and sold eight different veterinary practices and hospitals in his years of business and currently remains the active owner of his ninth practice in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

As a 1966 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine, Davenport began his first working partnership in June with Dr. W.H. Worley at Summit Park Animal Hospital. The partnership split in 1968. In February of that year, Dr. Davenport laid the groundwork for another successful practice at Crest Animal Hospital in a small 1,500 square foot building. In April of 1972, the business had grown to justify a new building that was double the size.

In addition to his 25-year tenure as a veterinarian of two very successful practices, Dr. Jones has managed the appraisals, sales, and consulting of veterinary hospitals throughout the southeast United States, making Dr. Jones a valuable source of information on buying and selling practices. Through his years of experience, he learned the ins and outs of determining the proper market value of a practice, a value that is instrumental for use by both the legitimate buyer and/or seller.

George R. Sikora, DVM

drgeorgeAs a founding member of TPSG, George R. Sikora, DVM brings 35 years of business and practice ownership, development, and sales to your office door. After graduation from Veterinary School, Dr. Sikora served his County as a base veterinarian in the U.S Air Force Veterinary Corps during the Vietnam War. After discharge he founded, developed, and sold five successful veterinary practices before venturing into other businesses. His most recent of these companion animal practices was merged with a neighboring practice and is now a 10 doctor, 5 million dollar practice in Northern Ohio. During his practice career, he was one of the first veterinarians in Ohio to offer embryo transfer, establishing that business in 1980.
