As a founding member of TPSG, John P. Bryk, DVM, brings over 18 years of practice ownership and business savvy into our group. Dr. Bryk’s forte has been to buy a veterinary practice, then develop the practice and improve the real estate to its highest potential for maximum sale ability. He has acquired and sold three successful veterinary practices, and is currently a partner in a fourth.

Dr. Bryk and his partner also developed a unique supplement business. Mapleton Vetplex specializes in developing mineral and vitamin formulations for specific problems of the different animal species. The company now sells canine, camilid, equine, and bovine products throughout the United States.

Areas of Expertise

Dr. Bryk will be able to help the owner not yet wanting to sell, make their practice more saleable at a later date. TPSG has many veterinarians who contact us about selling their practices two to three years into the future. By working with these veterinarians today, we are able to increase their practices net worth for tomorrow. At TPSG we feel that this is an extremely beneficial personal service that we offer to our clients.

One of the most important attributes brought to the group by Dr. Bryk is his background in architecture and general contracting. His expertise is in re-designing and remodeling existing veterinary hospitals. By updating portions of a veterinarian hospital, using minimal costs, we have been able to help maximize the sale of the real estate for our sellers.

Dr. Bryk’s roots stem from growing up and working on the family’s 200 cow dairy farm, where efficiency not only determined profit but also survival. He graduated from The College of Wooster and earned his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Bryk is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and The American Association of Equine Practitioners. He is also an active member in the Farm Bureau and Medina County Agriculture Society. In his free time, Dr. Bryk enjoys working with the local 4-H groups advising them in their building and animal projects.
