John Bryk, DVM

As a founding member of TPSG, John P. Bryk, DVM, brings over 30 years of practice ownership and business savvy.  He understands the importance of constant growth in veterinary medicine, and he enjoys sharing critical steps with owners who are preparing to sell their business in three to five years.  Selling your life’s work is a milestone that requires proper planning today to increase its net worth before you are ready to sell.

Since establishing TPSG in 2005, Dr. Bryk has worked with over 300 veterinarians along the east coast and Midwest to provide appraisals, facilitate buy-in/buy-out, or market and negotiate private and corporate sales. Dr. Bryk has well over $100 million in sales.  Due to the drastic increase of private equity companies’ pursuit of veterinary practices, the majority of his clients are now selling to corporate buyers.  His goal is to maximize the owner’s compensation, retain staff, and negotiate a good exit strategy for the seller.

Dr. Bryk’s roots stem from growing up and working on the family’s 200 cow dairy farm, where efficiency determined profit and survival. He graduated from The College of Wooster and earned his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Bryk enjoys working with the local 4-H groups advising them on their building and animal projects in his free time.

Areas of Expertise

Dr. Bryk also established a unique supplement business. The company now sells canine, camelid, equine, and bovine products throughout the United States.

Dr. Bryk is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and The American Association of Equine Practitioners. He is also an active member of the Farm Bureau and Medina County Agriculture Society.
